Hello as you all know me, my name is Talia and I want to talk about the experience I had in Wesley primary. I’ve been in this school for 6 years now, and finally I’m going to leave in five more days. I just wanna say thanks to everyone that loved,cared and teached me, I enjoyed every single day, every single month and every single year with everyone.

I just wanna say thanks to every teacher even Whaea Catherine, we all really loved how she was, and we all wished she was here for us, but the worry she is with us, and always will be. I enjoyed my journey with the teachers especially Whaea Ocea! She had 80 students in her classroom and made it this far, as a leader! hopefully our fun will never end!

Lastly the students, you guys were all so nice to me especially the year fives! Even though the year six’s are going doesn’t mean we’re gone forever, we will always come to visit!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR AN EXCELLENT JOURNEY!

My favorite activity was the flying fox, because the flying fox was so high, that it was taller than the tallest man in the world! But the part I didn’t like, was at the end of the zip line, because sometimes people would hit their heads. Luckily we were wearing helmets.

My second favorite activity is the indoor rock climbing, because its like teaching you to climb stuff, like if you’re lost in the forest you could just climb on a tree then call out for help.

My last favorite activity is slingshot paintball. because its all about focusing on the enemy, if you’re in a game like call of duty or Fortnite  its all about focusing  on the enemy and winning!

SPLASH! As you dive into the ocean. The ocean was as crystal clear as it could get. The sky was clearer than glass. The clouds were blooming like a blossom tree. Then suddenly you get slapped in the face by a fish tail. As you poke your head above the ocean, your face looks pumped up like a blobfish. But then your whole body gets pulled under the ocean. When you opened your eyes you could see a humungous coral reef. There were many fish, sting rays and many more. The coral reef was colourful as a rainbow. Until you realise you couldnt breath. You start panicking then you spot a turtle. You look down and see your foot, stuck in a string. Then an idea runs through your mind. You held onto the turtle… RIP! The string snaps in half.As you start swimming to shore, you are cold like a popsicle. When you made it to shore, you were breathing heavily like a fan.

As you stand in front of a spooky house, you could see the trees shaking roughly. You start hearing the wind howling as it sounds like it’s crashing into you. You could taste the toxic air. You can feel your toes tingling in fear. As you stepped into the yard, you started hearing screams and saw shadows through the windows. Your legs start shaking nonstop like an engine. You can hear wolves howling from distances away. You felt like there was an earhquake. You could feel the freezing breeze of chilly wind. You tried to leave but you were stuck in place. It was like your feet were stucked into the ground.ROAR! You heard something from the house. Is it a beast? or something… AH! To be continued

Wee! as you go down the slide,. You felt like it was a roller coaster. You could hear the kids screaming joyfully. You could see the kids running and smiling at the same time.The playground was big as a castle. You could feel the heat from the sun rising onto your skin like a heater. As you went inside the playground there was two slides. One was green and the other one was blue . Which one will you pick? Then you go down the blue slide. It was like a water slide. As you make it to the bottom you started hearing a song. It was… the ice cream truck! Your eyes light up with stars. You started running towards the ice cream truck like the flash. “What kind of ice cream would you like?” the ice cream man says. ” I would like a chocolate ice cream please” you replied. The ice cream man gives you a chocolate ice cream. Then you walk back to the playground and enjoy your ice cream. It looked like poop but still tasted delicious.

“Wesley stand up and start heading to the bus” Whaea Ashley called out to us. We all started heading downstairs towards the bus and hoped on. 

The bus was so loud everyone was talking, it got louder and louder. My ears felt like it was gonna break into pieces.Then Whaea Ashley called out “everyone we are finally here get off now.”

 We all disembarked and it was getting crowded outside the other schools waiting to go inside.Suddenly we spotted a mascot as the Duffy kid. He was dancing high fiving and doing the manawave.

As were eintering the building the other schools are entering as well.”Follow me class” Whaea Ocea said to us.

We all entered another room. It was the hall. The other schools were already sitting in their seats. There were people singing on stage, it looked like they were a band. They were singing so lovely I was humming and dancing. It took 1 hour in the hall, then the guy said into the mic”would anyone want to come up here and have a dance battle? If you do, just come up here and start dancing.” One from our school went up and started dancing crazy. The crowd went wild like monkeys. 

As we were going to leave the building the workers gave us a bag with some books,pens and chips. Then we spotted one of the schools takingsome photo so we decide to take a photo of our own.

All of us said our goodbyes and hopped onto the bus

For Cook Island language week we reed a Cook Island book called Auntie Nga so we made a Cook Island tour guide

On Monday, we were doing expectations about the classroom area. This is my picture about the motu

Oobleck 

“Today we are making Oobleck!” called Whaea Ocea. “Yaaaaay!!” I shouted back. First we got into groups of 4-5. Next we grabbed a bowl and a tablespoon and went to our table.

To make the oobleck we added one tablespoon of water into the bowl. Then we put two tablespoons of cornstarch into the bowl and started mixing. After a while of mixing it, it was finally ready.

Lastly we put our fingertips inside the Oobleck. It was sinking our fingertips inside quickly like quick sand! It felt so weird it was like I was trapped in Gooey smiley prison!

 “Hey Talia, look the Oobleck is melting on my hands!” Said Antonia. I laughed “That looks so cool” as I replied. 

Then we heard the song playing, we packed all our things then washed the Oobleck into the sink. I felt so good that I got to make Oobleck with my friends.
